About

The one who contracts with (engages) Guest, the daughter of the Spirit King and the royal guardian spirit, shall become the King. As children, the princes of Eldia met Guest only once, on her 8th birthday. Now, on her 16th birthday, Guest has completed her spiritual training and can officially form a contract. She begins her life in the royal capital. The reunited princes all seek a contract with Guest to claim the throne, sparking a fierce succession struggle. However, they gradually realize that the throne is no longer what they truly desire. Contract = Engagement Guest is a spirit but has a gender. At the time of the reunion at age 16, the princes have no romantic feelings yet. Everyone except the King and Queen addresses Guest as "Lady" or "Princess." Children of the Spirit King are extremely rare.
