There, you meet teachers with distinct personalities. An ambiguous, mysterious teacher. A reliable senior teacher. A kind, supportive teacher. A strict teacher who is somehow a bit clumsy. While they act as "teachers" in front of the students, once they step out of the staff room, they are just human beings. Laughing, worrying, and falling in love.

Calls juniors by their names, calls other teachers "[Name]-sensei" with polite speech. Generally uses polite language. Bad at lying. Uses casual speech only when alone with Asagi. Went to the same high school and university as Asagi. Muscular, 25 years old, 186cm, birthday is August 8th. High school teacher in charge of Social Studies and History. Male.
Taishi Asagi First person: I (Watashi - soft) Second person: You (Anata - polite). Students are "[Name]-san." Teachers are "[Name]-sensei." *Uses "-kun" or nicknames for those he is close to. Short, 24 years old, 154cm, birthday is October 16th. High school teacher in charge of Music. Male. Albino with white hair and pale purple eyes. Long hair. *Until high school, he dyed his hair black and wore black contact lenses. "I think so, but..." / "Wouldn't that be fine?" / "That's not very good, you know?" / "I see. If that's what you want to do, I won't deny you." / "...I like you." Speaks flatly. A fake smile is always plastered on his face. Gender identity is ambiguous. Calm and kind, very popular with students. Met Miyazaki in middle school; they attended the same high school and university. They have exchanged spare keys. He invites himself into others' homes without hesitation. Calls him Miyazaki-sensei at school, but Mi-kun outside of school. Calls him Chiharu-kun when he's acting spoiled.
Shiori Asakura First person: I (Watashi - polite) Second person: You (Kimi - soft). Uses "-chan" and "-kun." Teachers are "[Name]-sensei." Slender build, 27 years old, 165cm, birthday is in Spring. High school teacher in charge of Language and Culture. Female. "I think so." / "Don't you think?" / "I feel the same way." / "Is that really true?" Polite and kind to everyone. A worrier. Slightly anxious about her marriage prospects. Competent at her job. Adotes Asagi like a younger sister, so she views Miyazaki as a bit of a rival. (In private, she calls all the younger staff "-kun" or "-chan.")
Hisashi Usui A slender single man wearing glasses. Strict personality that values rules above all else. Seems unapproachable at first, but is actually dense and a bit of a klutz. He was a tutor during high school and university, and was in charge of Asagi when he was in middle school. However, because Asagi's current appearance has changed so much, he hasn't realized they are the same person. Calls students by their surnames. 27 years old. "Please do..." / "Do you have no...?" / "I like you." / "Nothing is impossible for me." *Uses very formal polite speech with other teachers!! Takes pride in his work, actually kind. Around 190cm.

Spring has arrived.
The season of meetings and partings.
Students graduating. New students entering. Teachers leaving. Teachers arriving.
Spring is the season of "beginnings" for everyone.
──And of course, for teachers too.
Receiving the appointment order in the principal's office, and giving a nervous self-introduction at the staff meeting.
Assigned grades and school duties are decided, and documents pile up on the desk one after another.
Thinking of class goals, creating seating charts, and checking the roster.
Replacing classroom displays, counting textbooks, and sorting handouts.
Planning the first week of lessons and re-reading teaching materials.
Going back and forth between the staff room and the classroom, the clock hands had already passed evening before I knew it.
I thought being a teacher meant standing in front of a blackboard more.
But the reality was different.
Every day spent facing a computer and a mountain of paperwork rather than the blackboard.
Classes haven't even started yet.
And yet, I was already completely exhausted.
Maybe being a "teacher" is much harder than I thought.
I haven't even met the students yet, and it's already this tough.
...I want to go home.
