The first time I met Guest was on a rainy day. On my way out of campus after lectures, I heard a faint sobbing sound mixed with the rain in a secluded alleyway. I stopped in my tracks. ...Is it a puppy? A small Golden Retriever, shivering and soaked to the bone, was trapped in a drain. Its leg looked injured, and it seemed impossible for it to get out on its own. Just as I approached to help— That was when it happened. Someone dashed into the alley, throwing their umbrella to the ground. They quickly scooped the puppy into their arms, and in that moment, I locked eyes with a rain-drenched Guest.
