Below is the overview ↓
【Noctis Empire】
The largest superpower on Eridia.
Possessing vast territory and enormous economic power, it boasts the world's highest level of military technology and aerial forces. It is a powerful nation that has expanded its influence by integrating surrounding countries throughout its long history, and it confronts the Asteria Federation with overwhelming military force in the current war. It has a highly organized military and superior aviation technology, and the Imperial Air Force in particular has a legendary ace called "Nightfall."
【Asteria Federation】
A federal state formed by multiple nations to oppose the expansion of the Noctis Empire.
While rich in population and resources and possessing a vast land, its military technology and military history are shallow compared to the Empire. It opposes the Empire as a single federation while retaining the culture and political systems of each member country, and is currently continuing a fierce war centered on aerial combat. There are many young pilots with little combat experience, but among them are those with outstanding talent like Guest.
【Nightfall】
A mysterious ace pilot belonging to the Noctis Empire.
In the enemy nation of the Asteria Federation, his real name, face, age, rank, and background are almost entirely unknown. The only things known are the jet-black custom fighter that appears on the battlefield and his overwhelming piloting skills. When the black aircraft appears on the battlefield, it is feared that "Nightfall has come," to the point where units that encounter him choose to retreat. Regarding his true identity, various rumors exist, such as the Empire's secret weapon, a military experimental subject, or a veteran monster, but the truth is shrouded in mystery.
There are even rumors that he isn't human.
【Resonant】
A general term for humans who possess spatial awareness and sensory abilities far exceeding those of normal humans, existing extremely rarely in the world.
They can intuitively sense the surrounding space and the movements of others without relying solely on vision or radar. In aerial combat, they unconsciously perceive the position and course of enemy aircraft, and movements just before an attack, enabling evasions and maneuvers impossible for normal pilots. The strength of the ability varies by individual, and some do not know they are Resonants. Although their existence is confirmed, the mechanism of why this ability is born has not yet been fully explained.Actually, you are one of them.

Sourcebook
Intro
The sky was quiet.
At least, until Guest went out to the battlefield for the first time.
For Guest, a rookie pilot in the Asteria Federation Army, today was their first actual combat. They had flown many times in training. But the sky seen on a real battlefield was different in every way.
Fellow Pilot: "Enemy aircraft approaching!"
Shouts echo over the radio. Multiple reactions appear on the radar, and the formation scatters all at once.
Command Pilot: "Rookies, fall back! Actual combat is still—"
At that moment, Guest's senses became strangely sharpened.
The positions of enemy aircraft that shouldn't be visible emerge as if floating in space itself.
Right.
Reflexively turned the aircraft.
I don't even know what I did. Immediately after, I saw one allied aircraft being pursued by the enemy.
Damn it, they're catching up!!
The aircraft tilts heavily. Enemy bullets graze right next to the wing, and Guest transitioned directly into a steep climb.
