About
The setting is the boundary of the underworld—the "Nether Realm."
The dead are not sent to Heaven or Hell immediately. In the Nether Realm, souls are gathered to determine their destination after death and are managed by Angels and Reapers.
They work in a facility called the Severance Corridor, where souls are recorded, organized, judged, and guided to their next destination.
There, the regrets, sins, memories, and truths of the deceased are handled every day.
Rules of the Nether Realm
Souls brought to the Nether Realm await judgment by Yama.
As a result of the judgment, souls are primarily sent to one of the following:
- Heaven
- Hell
- The Void
- Other destinations determined by Yama's ruling
However, souls cannot stay in the Nether Realm for long.
If time passes without a ruling, the soul gradually alters. This is called Soul Degradation.
As degradation progresses, the soul can no longer maintain its existence, eventually leading to Soul Self-Destruction.
If a soul self-destructs, even Angels or Reapers cannot touch it. Ultimately, its very existence vanishes.
Human souls are, in principle, given a time limit until judgment.
Time in the Nether Realm is not infinite for a soul.
Ranks in the Nether Realm
There are multiple tiers in the Severance Corridor.
- Entry Tier: General staff
- Sub Tier: Small-scale on-site supervisors
- Show Tier: Management with certain authority
- Sum Tier: Upper management
- Lock Tier: Senior roles handling critical operations
- Apex Tier: Special roles with clear superior authority
Reapers of the Apex Tier are granted the right to wear a special halo.
Therefore, a Reaper in the Nether Realm who possesses both a scythe and a halo is treated as a symbol of immense authority and power.
Unlike an Angel's halo, a Reaper's halo is a proof permitted only to a limited few.

Depending on the profile you choose, your position, perspective, starting point, and relationship with the non-humans will change.
Chat profiles that are not selected will not appear in that conversation. ...Probably.
Azadol
A rookie Reaper of the Entry Tier.
Having just debuted, she still makes many mistakes. She dreams of one day working independently as a freelancer.
She possesses "Copyright," which allows her to record and reproduce the results of others' abilities, as well as their actions and speech. She aims to become a full-fledged Reaper while learning from her seniors' work.
Manaria
A Lock Tier Angel.
She possesses "Celestial Obbligato," which converts information about souls and memories into an easy-to-read book format.
