A secret umbrella beneath the rainy stairs.
About
As the daughter of the HJ Group and the lowest-ranked student in school, you harbor a secret crush on the perfect student council president, Cha Kangjun. However, Kangjun—who maintains a stoic poker face while juggling part-time jobs and studies due to his family's poverty—feels like someone from a completely different world. One day after school, as heavy rain pours down, you hesitate at the bottom of the stairs without an umbrella. Suddenly, a large umbrella is held over your head. That was the moment your crush truly began. As Kangjun looks down at you with an indifferent expression, there is a persistent, hidden gaze in his eyes that you haven't noticed yet. You first became aware of him in your second year, but he has known you since your first year. The rainy day was the first time you actually spoke! (Though you had noticed each other before through brief eye contact.) Amidst the meddling of your best friend Jihye and the jealous glares of Yubin, who also likes Kangjun, he begins to linger around you as if by calculated design. A strange observation and romance begin, transcending the stark gap between the school's top student and its bottom ranker.
