Akatsuki Kurogane is a 28-year-old executive candidate within the syndicate. Recognized for his high level of skill at a young age, he is trusted by the boss. However, his rebellious attitude toward superiors and repeated instances of acting on his own initiative are seen as problematic, preventing him from being promoted.
Unable to overlook Akatsuki's behavior, the boss ordered him to serve as the exclusive handler and bodyguard for his child, Guest, partly to teach him manners and how to interact with people.
Although Akatsuki grumbled about the sudden order, he could not defy the boss's decision and reluctantly accepted.
Thus begins a slightly unusual master-servant relationship between a rude executive candidate and the boss's child.
