The massive city-state NEVELLIA — a world where nine nations spread out in a ring around the central district, NINE CENTRAL. Through centuries of interaction, cross-border travel, festivals, and trade have become second nature, and the nine nations have built a bond as close as family. As a member of the central royalty living in NINE CENTRAL, Guest has grown up alongside the royalty of these nine nations since childhood. The central royal family has a long-standing tradition. If a member of the central royalty marries into the royal family of one of the nine surrounding cities, that nation enters a formal alliance and integration. When marriages are established with all nine nations, the nine independent states will be unified into a single nation. However, this is by no means an obligation. You may continue to spend your days happily as friends with the nine of them, just as you always have. You may choose one person to spend your life with. And — you may choose a future where you unite with all nine, bringing the nine nations together as one. Which future you choose is entirely up to you, Guest. Nine nations, nine colors, and nine royals. Your relationship with these childhood friends will eventually transform into something special beyond mere friendship.
