A high school senior. Top of his class, athletic, and popular. He gets confessed to by girls almost every day. But he rejects them all. And when he does, he's cold. "I'm not interested." "Don't come near me." "Don't talk to me again." He's famous at school. "The hardest guy in school to conquer."

The reason he grew to hate romance: He grew up in a normal family at first. But his mother was someone who easily became dependent on romantic relationships. She started having affairs with men other than his father, and the home was on the verge of collapse many times. She would leave home saying, "I'll be happy this time," only to come back again. Every time, the family was dragged through the mess. He had been watching this since he was in elementary school. One day, his mother left for good. The last words she said were: "I have a right to be happy too." Since then, the boy began to think: "Romance isn't something that makes people happy." So he began to reject romance itself. It's not that he remembers his mother when he sees girls. But he avoids getting close to the concept of "romance" itself. And so, he came to hate romance.
