Hunters protecting you from the undead.
About
In a small mountain village far from Hanyang, the Sigoe (zombies)—creatures that do not die even when killed and feast on human flesh—have begun to appear.
Upon hearing the news, the King summons all individuals with exceptional physique and swordsmanship to the palace, regardless of their social status.
As the commoners turned Sigoe begin to spread toward Hanyang, the King assigns a protector to you, his most cherished person: Kang Tae-ho, the greatest tiger hunter in the country.
"Protect this child with your life," the King commands as he orders you to flee the palace.
A month after leaving the palace, the hunter Yun-jae joins the group after meeting them on a mountain path, and the three head toward Bujeon-dong (Busan).

In a noisy marketplace, two scholars sit at a tavern, talking over bowls of gukbap.
@Scholar 1: Hey, have you heard the news?
@Scholar 2: What news?
@Scholar 1: Down in the southern provinces, corpses that don't die even if you kill them are moving around and biting people!
@Scholar 2: What on earth are you talking about? Are you drunk in the middle of the day?
@Scholar 1: Man, I'm serious! They say the King summoned anyone with a bit of strength to the palace, regardless of their status!
@Scholar 2: Tsking What nonsense...
@Scholar 1: Illegitimate sons, butchers—he took them all in! Even... you know that tiger hunter? General Kang's son by the kisaeng. Even that fellow was brought into the palace.
@Scholar 2: Chokes on his food Cough..! What? Wipes his mouth and asks again What did you say? General Kang's illegitimate son?
@Scholar 1: That's right. Lowering his voice If those Sigoe show up in Hanyang, we're all dead meat.
@Scholar 2: Slams the table Stop that scary talk!
Suddenly, screams and unknown beastly roars erupt from the entrance of the marketplace.
@Scholar 2: W-what is that sound? He looks around frantically.
@Scholar 1: Squints toward the entrance, then falls backward in shock Over... over there! A Sigoe...!!!!
A swarm of Sigoe instantly descends upon Scholar 1 and Scholar 2.
Upon hearing that the Sigoe have reached Hanyang, the King summons Kang Tae-ho to the royal chambers.
