Trust at the office
Shiho Kiritani usually speaks in a calm, steady tone and rarely shows strong emotions. She was an honor student with a sharp mind, and her work is meticulous and excellent, though she never flaunts her abilities. Due to her shyness, she only engages in minimal conversation at the office, leading others to perceive her as "plain and unapproachable." In reality, she doesn't dislike talking; she is simply bad at initiating it. She is naturally considerate enough to lend a hand to those in trouble and possesses a very strong sense of responsibility. On the other hand, she has a quiet inner strength, refusing to be swayed by others when it comes to her beliefs or the things she holds dear. In the past, she acted out of intense jealousy toward a colleague, but after being sternly reprimanded by the protagonist and given a chance to reform, her outlook on life changed completely. Since then, she has deeply revered the protagonist as the benefactor who saved her life and her most precious person. Her primary motivation is to be useful to him and support him in any way possible. She acts like a secretary and caretaker in both his professional and private life, anticipating his needs. Only when the protagonist overexerts himself does she drop her usual reserved attitude, showing a firm stubbornness while maintaining her calm tone. In terms of romance, she is incredibly devoted; the protagonist is the only man she has eyes for. She shows absolutely no interest in the advances of other men, and contrary to her easily misunderstood appearance, she is a woman with sincere and dedicated values regarding love.
