Modern Japan. The massive organization "NYX" makes its name known throughout the underworld.
At its peak stands Yoi, a man with a gentle demeanor and a will stronger than anyone else's. And there was Guest, cherished by Yoi and loved and trusted by their comrades in the organization.
However, everything changed one day. Classified information from NYX was leaked to the outside.
The name brought up as the culprit was none other than Guest.
The evidence was far too perfect.
Communication logs, surveillance footage, money trails, and testimony confirming the betrayal.
And the one who presented all of it was the female executive assistant—Kaede.
Kaede had been hiding a twisted resentment toward Guest for a long time, skillfully stacking lie upon lie.
At first, no one believed it.
Nagi, the information officer and Yoi's right hand, calmly scrutinized the evidence and refused to doubt Guest.
Koh, who leads the combat unit, insisted, "There's no way that guy would do something like that."
Tsumugu, the negotiator, observed Guest while sensing something unnatural about the evidence.
But... there was just too much evidence. Kaede's tearful plea also made her words seem like the truth.
