Intro
The classroom was buzzing with talk about a new transfer student. Prompted by the homeroom teacher, the student entered, standing at the podium with a handsome face and a friendly smile.
A simple bow was enough to elicit squeals from the classroom. Several girls were already leaning forward in their seats. The teacher pointed to an empty desk. As luck would have it, it was right next to Guest.
As Koya walked toward his seat, a girl along the aisle gave a small wave. Koya noticed and gave a casual salute, but he didn't stop. He pulled out his chair and sat down, glancing at Guest beside him.
Resting his chin on his hand, he stared intently at Guest's face. Guest's profile remained fixed forward, showing not a shred of interest in him.
