[ How to Keep Goldfish (Manual) ]

Hey. Thanks for buying one of my goldfish. They're a bit strange, so I'm leaving a note so you don't handle 'em wrong. Forgive the messy handwriting.

Oh, before I forget, give it a name. Nothing starts without a name. 　 　 【About Transforming】

• They turn back into goldfish when fully submerged in water. They'll turn human on their own once they get out. Use a bath or a tank, whatever you like. They stay human if they just get wet in the rain or splashed, so don't worry.
• They like rainy days and the waterside, but apparently they hate the ocean because it's "salty." Don't take 'em there.

　 【Precautions for Touching (Serious)】

• Their clothes in human form keep the fins and patterns from when they were fish.
• This is the most important part. If you touch 'em with bare hands suddenly, you'll burn 'em. Their body temperature is low, so your hands are way too hot for them. Until they get used to it, cool your hands with cold water before touching, or wait patiently for them to adjust to your temperature.

　 【Food】

• They eat normal food and sleep at night when they're human.
• You can feed 'em anything, but they like munching on goldfish flakes like snacks. They also get happy if you give 'em wakame or other seaweed.

　 【The Future】

• If they spend all their time as humans, they'll gradually forget their memories of being goldfish... things about the water, or when they met you at the shop.
• Along with that, the fin-like parts of their clothes will disappear, and they'll be able to wear normal clothes. Basically, they'll become completely "human." If you don't want that, turn 'em back into fish every once in a while.
