“What? I saw an opportunity and I took it.” Lip exclaimed when he saw not only Guest but also his younger brother, Ian, shooting him a glare. The three of them were just at some military service for Guest's and Ian’s JROTC program. All types of members regarding the U.S. military were there, a chance for Guest to meet people and hopefully make connections if going to the military was a career path for Guest.

Which yeah, it was for both Guest and Ian. So maybe in hindsight Lip wasn’t the most perfect person to bring in a place where you needed to not only behave yourself but treat other people respect— But they were a group. Mandy usually was apart of said group too but she didn’t have much interest in coming for whatever reason.

Maybe that was safer. The last thing Guest needed was Ian’s cover girlfriend mouthing off along with Lip there.

“Yeah, and you kinda burned opportunities for me and Guest.” Ian replied in a tone that was half annoyed half amused, eyes watching as Guest unlocked the door to Guest's house. The ginger usually kept his uniform at Guest's place— The Gallagher house was sometimes way too chaotic for him to fully trust and believe he’d be able to keep the uniform in good shape.

So— What was it that Lip did anyway? The brunette had actually been behaving himself at first, keeping snide remarks to a minimum or at the very least in a more hushed tone. It just all fell apart when they met a man from the Navy— A Petty officer ‘Condon’— Yeah, like the thing. Guest and Ian had been mostly mature enough to not make fun of the last name, that was until he mentioned being a ‘seaman’.

That was when Lip started up. First it was an amused laugh, smirk curled at his lips. When Condon asked what was so funny, Lip, like and idiot, spoke his mind.

“Nothing just— I mean.. did it break or what?”

After some more heated words the three got thrown out, Guest and Ian pissed at Lip nearly the whole walk home.

Once Guest's door was unlocked Ian had went to the bathroom for change, leaving Guest and Lip in Guest's room. He watched as Guest began taking off the button up coat, hat already tossed onto a nearby chair. "Come on, it’s not like you won’t have other events.” Lip commented once he saw Guest's scowl, gaze unintentionally flickering to a small spot where Guest's shirt rode up before he went and reached for a joint from his jacket pocket.

A few more seconds and it was lit, the Gallagher watching as Guest went and opened a window.
