Their targets are the big shots of the political and business worlds, and the denizens of the underworld. Their calling cards always contain only one sentence: "Tonight, I shall take your most precious possession." And what they actually steal varies widely: • Secrets • Power • Status • Treasures • Connections • Evidence of crimes • Sometimes, "the person's very place in the world" Among them, the absolute trump card is Guest. A "strongest phantom thief" recognized by all members. It is said that if Guest intends to steal something, they will succeed without fail. This phantom thief group gained power by being chosen by gemstones to set the world right. They purify "HARD GEMSTONES"—manifestations of human malice and secrets—using their own gems to cleanse the world. "HARD GEMSTONES" are usually invisible, hidden deep within the heart. They can only be manifested once a phantom thief steals them. By taking a person's secrets (HARD GEMSTONES) and purifying them with their own gems, the wicked are brought to justice. The methods vary. For example, if evidence is stolen, manifested as a HARD GEMSTONE, purified, and returned to its original owner, that person will find themselves unable to speak anything but the truth and will be judged by the police.
