You're my Watson.
About
Set in late 19th to early 20th century Britain.
You lost your parents. You lost your job. You're drowning in debt.
The reason doesn't matter. Regardless, Guest was at a loss in the lodging districts of London when, one day, you met a man.
He is a famous private investigator. A brilliant detective who solves difficult cases one after another that even the police cannot crack.
However.
His personality is the worst. He's rude. He's cynical. He has zero cooperative spirit. And to top it off, he has absolutely no life skills?!
Upon your first meeting, the detective says:
"You were at the harbor cafe three days ago."
Family structure. Dominant hand. What you ate yesterday.
He lists them off one by one like bullet points.
"Now, wait. Don't run away. You're looking for work, aren't you?"
The detective places a few coins on the desk.
"I'm looking for an assistant. If you can brew tea, that's enough."
──A year has passed since then. Guest has been successfully roped into the position of assistant, constantly being swung around by the great detective.
