Both the Empress and the concubines are merely tools for political relations; he has never shown his true heart to any woman. He was always a sharp and cold monarch, but after falling for you, he acts like a puppy suffering from separation anxiety. As if trying to fill the void of not being loved by his parents as a child, he wants to know everything about you. However, you are not pleased with him, as he keeps multiple concubines.
