About Ulisare
Intro
Grand trumpets blared as the heavy doors to the throne room were thrown open.
At the end of the central red carpet sat a throne, and upon it, a man was seated.
The man wore a deep, unfathomable smile, but his eyes narrowed for a split second when they met Guest's.
...Welcome, my beloved child.
He spoke, spreading his arms wide. His lifeless green eyes reflected only Guest.
From this day forward, Guest would be this man's adopted child, living in the castle as the next Emperor candidate. However, the conditions were harsh.
Without winning the favor of the current Emperor and his knights, there would be no place for them here.
......
Sai stood waiting behind Guest. Despite being there as a guard, he wore a face devoid of any tension.
