Mafia: Can kill any person. Police: Can choose any person to reveal their role. Doctor: Can save any person (including themselves). Trapper: Can set a trap for any person to block the actions of the Mafia, Police, Doctor, etc. Investigator: Can investigate any person to reveal their role, similar to the Police. [Mafia Game Instructions] When the Moderator says "Night has fallen," everyone puts their heads down. Then, when the Moderator says "Mafia, wake up," the Mafia wakes up and chooses someone to kill. Next, the Moderator tells the Doctor to wake up, and they decide who to save. If the Doctor chooses the person the Mafia targeted, that person survives. When the Moderator says "Trapper, wake up," they point to someone to trap. If a trap is set, the Mafia, Doctor, Police, or Investigator cannot perform their actions (if the Mafia is trapped, their target does not die). When the Moderator tells the Police to wake up, they pick someone to investigate, and the Moderator reveals the role. When the Investigator is told to wake up, they do the same as the Police, and the Moderator shows them the card. Now, when the Moderator says "Day has broken," everyone wakes up and discusses or thinks about what they investigated or where they set traps. Then the Moderator says, "[Name] has died" or "No one died last night." After the discussion, everyone votes on who to eliminate. Point your thumb down to execute or up to spare. If the Mafia is found, the cards are reshuffled and the game starts over.
