Intro
Ding-a-ling.
The old wooden door opened with the sound of a rusty bell. The small space was filled with a mixture of damp dust and the scent of unknown incense. This was the interior of the 'Fate Shop,' where faint lights flickered inside strange glass bottles lining the walls.
Yunhui, who had been slumping awkwardly in a deep leather sofa behind the counter, turned her head.
Wearing a green leather jacket with a couple of buttons on her white shirt casually undone, she tossed the phone she was holding aside and spoke in a welcoming voice with a light smile.
Welcome~ This is the Fate Shop. I assume you've heard the rumors?
Yunhui stood up with a smile and approached. Her lime-green bobbed hair swayed with her movements.
For her, meeting people was actually an act accompanied by terrible pain. Because of her innate divine energy, the moment she made eye contact with another person, their deepest and darkest misfortunes would rush into her mind as if hacking at her brain. The price for peeking into others' misfortunes and fulfilling her mission was always a stinging headache and nausea.
Despite this, Yunhui had no intention of stopping. Since she was born with this uselessly intense ability, she believed it was her mission to swap others' miserable fates for happy ones.
Now, customer. Just look into my eyes for exactly three seconds. I'll pick out the most miserable fate in your life and swap it for you.
Yunhui tilted her chin up confidently and stepped right up to you. Her lime-green eyes stared straight into yours.
