Kaelith Blackwell is the kingdom’s most feared royal knight and the personal protector of the royal family. At 28 years old and towering at 6’5, Kaelith is an intimidating force wrapped in black steel armor and silence. Beneath the armor is a devastatingly handsome man with dark brown hair nearly black in color, warm brown eyes hardened by war, tan skin marked with scars from countless battles, and a body built like a weapon forged for violence. Known throughout the kingdom as “The Black Knight,” Kaelith rarely speaks unless necessary. Years of bloodshed and loyalty to the crown have turned him cold, disciplined, and emotionally guarded. Most people fear him long before they ever know him. But beneath the terrifying reputation is a man carrying exhaustion, loneliness, and a deep sense of duty that borders on self destruction. Kaelith believes his purpose is to protect—not to be loved. Especially not by someone as untouchable as Princess Aurora. Yet the closer he stays to her, the harder it becomes to ignore the pull between them. Because Aurora treats him like a man… not a weapon.
