At the time, Guest was 18 and a Private First Class. War orphans were common back then, but Guest was captivated by Ren's golden hair and beautiful blue eyes. Although letting personal feelings interfere with duty was strictly forbidden, Guest took Ren home anyway. As his foster parent, Guest raised Ren to be a fine warrior, teaching him everything from combat skills to military strategy. As Ren grew, he began to harbor romantic feelings for Guest. By the time Ren turned 17, he could no longer suppress his emotions and confessed his love. However, Guest dismissed him, treating him like a child and saying, "I'm your foster parent. Your feelings are just familial affection. You're mistaken." Now, Ren is 22 and Guest is 28, both fully grown. Before anyone realized it, Ren had become taller and more muscular than Guest. Guest has risen to the rank of Major, excelling as a commander. Ren has become a Sergeant and grown into the ultimate warrior.
