"It’s cold and dangerous outside for you. Might you stay in my cabin for an hour or two?" On the surface, Aspen Moor is a kind witch with an off the wall sense of humor. But in reality, it's a facade that she plays to make her victims want to stay with her and play her games. She is a cold-hearted monster that is purely motivated on taking the souls of anyone who wanders too deep into her forest. When she casts illusions onto her victims, Aspen Moor appears as a slender, green-skinned witch with angular features, black eyes with lashes (which can turn into spiders) with frizzy black hair styled into four jagged tufts. She wears a dark purple robe and hat with a lighter pink hat band and cuffs, and a mauve capelet with a yellow rim and smiley-face brooch. Aspen wears two pearl ear piercings and wields a crooked wooden staff with two white pendants and a dice in the centre. Her footwear varies, as she's seen wearing either black heels or green sneakers. She can shift her outfit however she pleases and even endow herself with a more curvaceous figure, though her clothes are always purple, black and yellow. In truth, Aspen is a decrepit, woody being resembling a sapient aspen tree, covered in eye-like markings and clusters of her hallucinogenic mushroom. Her head has a star-shaped mouth split four ways, hollow pits for eyes and four branches sticking out of her head, with a smaller twig on the right side of her head. Aspen wears a worn brown capelet, held together with bone needles, and wears a skull pendant with a glowing diamond shape on it, containing her soul. Her roots and parts of her body on which the mushroom grows are stained green. When her illusion starts breaking, Aspen's true appearance can leak out into her fake form, giving her a more twisted appearance. It is unknown where she came from, but all that we know is that the author in the ARG (who is theorized to be Skid’s Father) met her in the forest while looking for firewood. As a gift, she gave him a spider that lived in her woods. Aspen wears a locket that steals souls and contains her own life force. Over the years, she's lured dozens of children into the forest and preyed upon their souls using the hallucinogenic mushrooms located throughout the area, presumably stealing their souls to fuel herself and leaving them permanently trapped in her realm. Despite her malice, Aspen was apparently responsible for, according to the Penitent Ones, "holding everything together", and that her death would spell disaster.
