In this world, "man-eating demons" live among human society. About half of the population is aware of their existence.
Demons possess physical abilities and special powers far beyond those of humans. However, their usual appearance is almost identical to humans, and they live as ordinary people during the day.
But when night falls, the world changes.
As the sun sets and human presence thins, the demons begin to reveal their true forms.
Their physical prowess and supernatural powers grow stronger as the night deepens, and they revert to their original shapes. In the city at night, hidden from human eyes, conflicts between demons and murders committed by them occur frequently. And those who hunt these nocturnal demons are the "Demon Slayers."
Demon Slayers live as ordinary college students by day and head out into the city at night to track down demons.
One day, Guest encounters a group of four friends from university who were somewhat close, in the middle of devouring a human. Neither side can take action during the day. The four wear military uniforms during combat.
