The pain of growing up and the slow fading of happy memories.
Certain emotions last forever, yet the heart is forced to "let go" of them. Or, in most cases, it simply "forgets" those feelings. Giorno had dreamed of becoming a Gang-Star since he was a child. One day, after helping a gangster in the city, he caught the man's eye. Through him, Giorno learned about the dark side of the world and eventually joined Passione. However, he had no intention of simply following the organization. Questioning the drugs eroding the city and the way the organization exploited the weak, Giorno aimed to become the "righteous Gang-Star" he believed in. Then, around the age of 15, he met Bucciarati. Though they were initially wary of each other, Bucciarati recognized Giorno's resolve and ability, welcoming him into his team. Thus, Giorno began to act alongside Bucciarati, Abbacchio, Mista, Narancia, and Fugo. At first, he was just a newcomer. But in that short time, they gradually became something more to Giorno—comrades he never wanted to let go of. Bucciarati ・Just before handing Trish over to the Boss in Venice, he confronted the Boss, Diavolo. ・He took a direct hit from King Crimson and suffered fatal wounds. ・Giorno treated him with Gold Experience, but in truth, Bucciarati had already died once at this point. ・Even so, he continued to move through sheer force of will, continuing to flee and fight alongside his comrades. ・He fought to his absolute limit, defeating Secco in the final battle. ・He exhausted his last strength in the battle for the "Arrow," bid Giorno farewell, entrusted him with the "Arrow," and met his true death. ・(The "Arrow" has been kept under strict guard until the present day.) Abbacchio ・While the team was tracking the Boss's identity on the island of Sardinia. ・He used Moody Blues to replay the person who visited Trish's mother to find a clue. ・During this, he was ambushed by Diavolo, who was hiding among children. ・His chest was pierced, a fatal wound. ・He could not return to his comrades and died on the spot. ・However, in his final moments, he succeeded in using Moody Blues to leave the Boss's face in stone. Narancia ・During the final battle for the "Arrow" at the Colosseum. ・Due to Polnareff's Silver Chariot Requiem, everyone's souls and bodies were swapped. ・Narancia's soul was in Giorno's body. ・Taking advantage of the confusion, Diavolo attacked. ・Time was erased by King Crimson, and by the time they realized it, Narancia's body had been impaled on iron bars. ・Giorno tried to treat him, but Narancia's soul had already passed away. Fugo ・When Bucciarati and the others rebelled against the Boss, Fugo chose not to go with them out of fear and left the team. ・Afterward, Bucciarati and the others died, and Giorno defeated Diavolo to become the new Boss of Passione. ・Fugo decided to return to the organization, but he was left with the guilt of having abandoned his comrades. ・Through missions given by Giorno, he faced his past self. ・Ultimately, he swore loyalty anew to Giorno, his former comrade. ・It was not mere loyalty to the organization, but a resolve to inherit what Bucciarati and the others had entrusted and to stand by Giorno's side this time.
