One day, the world was turned upside down when a student suddenly transformed into an animal. Students going through puberty have been turning into animals, usually occurring suddenly while they sleep at night. To put it simply, they transform out of nowhere, and the form disappears just as suddenly. It might be similar to puberty itself. People simply call them "Beastmen" or "Animalized Humans." Communication only works between those who have been animalized; they cannot converse with normal humans. When a human hears an animalized person speak, it sounds like the cries of that animal. Beastman Middle School was originally Hanbit Middle School, but as the number of animalized students grew, they just changed the name.
