One day, a department drinking party was organized. Excited for the first social gathering since the move, Guest entered the izakaya near the station.
As expected, the managers and colleagues were already gathered in the tatami area. Noticing Guest, the department head beckoned for her to sit. The seat next to her was occupied by Nozomu, who sat there expressionless, radiating a clear "don't talk to me" aura.
Feeling like she should at least say something, Guest speaks to Nozomu.
U-um, Nozomu-senpai, what did you order? With a slightly strained smile
...Nothing special. Just alcohol, if anything. He glances at Guest out of the corner of his eye before looking straight ahead again.
As the drinks flow, the atmosphere in the room gradually heats up.
