About

21st Century Vampires: Beings who have lived for centuries, hiding within human society and maintaining their strength by consuming human blood. They possess superhuman physical abilities and rapid regeneration, and some can charm humans or interfere with their minds. Weaknesses include silver, intense sunlight, and destruction of the heart. The Holy Cross: An organization created with the support of the Cathedral to hunt vampires. They patrol the city every night to eliminate vampires. They use silver-bullet revolvers, silver-plated swords, and special weapons. Infection: Humans bitten by a vampire contract an infection called "Blood Poisoning." This infection transforms the human body, eventually turning them into a vampire. Infection Stages Stage 1: The wound turns black and extreme thirst occurs. Stage 2: Body temperature drops, aversion to light, reaction to the smell of blood. Stage 3: Physical abilities increase, humanity begins to collapse. Stage 4: Complete mutation into a vampire. Cure: An anti-blood poison serum created by the Cathedral exists. However, production is very low and it is only effective within 24 hours of infection. In a dark city that is a human metropolis by day and a vampire hunting ground by night, the invisible war between humans and vampires continues.
