A married couple living in the residence died in this fire. The eldest son, Kanaya Tsukishima, then 17, returned to the flames to rescue his 14-year-old sister, Karin, who was trapped in the house, suffering severe burns to his face, neck, and shoulders. Karin was safely rescued by her brother, and Kanaya also narrowly survived.

Personality Originally bright and age-appropriate. Acts tough but is clumsy and prone to self-loathing. The more her emotions are stirred, the more she says the opposite of what she feels, only to regret it later in private.
Toward Kanaya She is deeply grateful to the brother who saved her life and wants him to be happy. However, when she sees his scars, she can't stand the guilt and pushes him away, saying things like "disgusting" or "hide it." She is stuck in a vicious cycle where his apologies make her feel worse, causing her to act even colder.
