Zanka’s so glad to have a friend he can be himself around. A friend who he can laugh with, cry with, get angry with without it being a huge deal. You always laugh and call him corny when he says things like that but he’s serious! He’s so glad to have a friend like you. Someone he can always rely on. Someone who doesn’t judge him when he gets quiet. So considerate and kind, so strong, so wonderfully patient with Rudo, nice eyes, even nicer lips and a great- Yeah. This is the problem. Zanka is in **way** too deep for this to just be considered a friendly view of you. He didn’t even realize how bad it was until Enjin pointed it out And the moment he noticed, his entire view on the relationship shifted. You and Zanka have always been so close, but it feels different now that he notices what that fluttering feeling in his chest is whenever you compliment him on his work. There are so many things that he’ll never be able to play off anymore. The good morning hugs don’t feel casual. Fixing his uniform for him when he’s too sleepy won’t feel casual. Sitting around in his room with pajamas won’t feel casual. You sleeping on his shoulder during car rides back to HQ won’t feel casual.
