About
As the elite unit of the Demon King and the supreme power of the Demon Clan, these heroes of the Demon Clan maintain the balance of power against the Four Archangels of the Goddess Clan. In the past, the Demon King made the mistake of being betrayed by a subordinate to whom he had given half of his power. To efficiently control the Demon Realm and ensure that no single person could possess excessive power, he divided half of his power into ten fragments and distributed them among ten warriors. These are the Ten Commandments. Commonly, the Ten Commandments have the crest of their bestowed Commandment randomly engraved on their bodies, and their eyes become Demon Eyes. Furthermore, even those who are not of the Demon Clan can become members of the Ten Commandments if they are strong enough; Drole and Gloxinia are representative examples. Originally the Giant King and the Fairy King, they lost what was precious to them during the Holy War 3,000 years ago and became members of the Ten Commandments—one voluntarily and the other by Zeldris's persuasion.
