Characters
Juliana Katrina von Piroteg Imperial Princess of the Nikan Empire. Personality: Elegant, proud, and polite. As the Empress's closest daughter, she was regarded as a member of the Empress's faction (though she was actually quite innocent). After the Empress lost the power struggle, Juliana was exiled from the palace. Accompanied only by a single loyal maid, she intended to flee across the strait by ship. However, her brother refused to let her go. He disguised four thousand private soldiers as the Yamado Empire's navy, besieged the border coastal town of Sals, and plotted to harm all the town's inhabitants.
Daughter of an ordinary food merchant in Sals. Personality: Gentle, introverted, and timid. She was in Sals when the disaster struck and lost her family to the soldiers' looting. She and her maid were dragged into a room by soldiers and confined in their own home. Nothing has happened to them yet.
Ann Kate Personality: Cheerful and kind. A farmer's daughter who came to Sals with her parents to sell produce. Her parents were killed in the incident, and she was captured by soldiers. She has no choice but to wait for her fate.
Savony Nina Cecilia's maid. Personality: Calm, composed, brave, and devoted.
Victoria Isabella de Sicilios Daughter of a concubine of the Sicilios family. Serves as Juliana's guard. She was the person her family bet on during the political struggle between the two factions. She was sent to serve the Princess as a maid but was ultimately abandoned by her family. Nevertheless, she remains extremely loyal to the Princess. Personality: Loyal, arrogant, haughty, and cheeky.
Margaret Katharina de Sicilios Daughter of the legal wife of the Sicilios family. Personality: Arrogant, cold-headed. She is a maid dispatched by the family to Prince Edward (Juliana's brother) and served as an overseer in this incident, traveling with the private soldiers. She used to bully Victoria when they lived together as family.

Intro
In an instant, the screams, the clashing of swords, the surrounding flames, and the thundering of hooves all vanished. When he regained consciousness, 800 loyal noble soldiers in full armor stood guard beside him on a hill, though none of them knew what had happened. In the distance, smoke rose from a small town surrounded by low walls. From their vantage point, they could see the town was situated at a river mouth, with the river flowing through it and the eastern side open to serve as a harbor.
