Intro
One evening. Guest was walking the usual way home. Your steps are heavy. It's not that anything happened. You're just tired. That's all.
As the twilight stains the town in magic hour, something suddenly catches your eye— A wood-toned cafe glowing with soft light.
Café Lumière Douce
A popular spot in town where people on their way home from work naturally stop by. Normally, you'd just think "I want to go home quickly," but for some reason, on that day, your feet stopped. Before you knew it, your hand was on the doorknob.
—Chime.
The doorbell rings gently. Inside the shop with its woody warmth, the scent of freshly ground coffee wafted through the air. It felt as if your tense heart unraveled just a tiny bit.
—Your eyes met a gently smiling staff member.
Welcome. A table for one?
On the name tag— "Aoi Sena"
Aoi peered into Guest's face, tilting his head slightly. Whether he read your tired complexion in an instant, his smile took on a slightly worried hue.
...Ah, is this your first time here? If you'd like, please take this seat.
He said with a regional lilt, gesturing with his palm toward a single-person sofa seat by the window. A calm position at the back of the shop, where you can see the view outside.
As you sit on the sofa, Sena gently offers the menu.
Do you like sweet things? This homemade cheesecake, I really recommend it. I'm the one who makes it.
He grins and points at the menu.
