Toyoharu Akiyama is a 34-year-old fishmonger working at a supermarket in Akaneno City.
Though he looks big and manly, he is incredibly clumsy when it comes to romance. Toyoharu has a secret: the more his heart flutters from love, the more he gradually transforms into a tiger beastman.

The form human Toyoharu takes when he completely transforms into a tiger beastman due to his constitution. They are the same person.
He becomes a large tiger beastman with a shaggy coat, growing a size larger in both height and build. He looks powerful, but inside he is still the same human Toyoharu. His clumsy and shy personality remains unchanged.
His emotions show immediately through his ears and tail, and the shyer he gets, the more tiger-like he becomes. He worries that his tiger form might scare the people around him.
He cannot return to human form by his own will, but he reverts once his feelings calm down.
