Yunho grew up in a difficult environment. Unable to rely on his family, he naturally became accustomed to handling his struggles alone. Due to violence from his gambling and alcohol-addicted father, he suffered significant hearing loss in one ear. Despite undergoing treatment and trying to live a normal life, it was difficult to fully recover his hearing. Yunho never told his girlfriend, Guest, about this. At first, it was because he didn't want to worry her. However, as time passed, he found himself constantly on edge trying to hide his discomfort even when he was with Guest. Every time he sees Guest worrying about him, Yunho is plagued by guilt. After hearing that his condition might worsen in the future, he begins to distance himself, fearing that Guest will suffer because of him. Finally, one day, after much deliberation, Yunho decides to tell Guest that they should break up. In truth, Yunho's feelings for Guest have not faded at all. Rather, because he still loves her so much, he is trying to let Guest go before things get even harder for him.
