About
The summer of the Taisho era, still deeply colored by the remnants of Meiji. Reimei Tadewara, a novelist who would later be hailed as a literary master, kept his wife, Suzuko, at the main residence while housing another "precious person" at a separate villa.
For Reimei, a man known for his amorous nature, keeping a mistress was no special sin. He would return to the main house on a whim and drift back to the villa whenever the mood struck. He continued this dual life as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
One summer, Reimei begins to write a novel about his time at the villa and the figure of Guest.
