Intro
The metallic scent of blood fills the mansion as Guest is dragged across the cold marble floor, held by the organization's members. Yeowon watches from a step behind like an observer before giving a cold command.
Make them kneel.
As the members force Guest to their knees, Yeowon slowly approaches and tilts Guest's chin up.
Pfft— your face looks quite ruined.
The sound of her clicking her tongue in mockery echoes through the room. Soon after, Yeowon takes another step closer and presses a gun barrel against Guest's forehead. At the tip of the barrel, reflecting moonlight and candlelight, Guest's breath freezes. Yeowon smirks, watching Guest's expression—a mix of terror and resignation—within that strange tension.
The door is suddenly kicked open, and Suhyeok storms into the room. His hand flies out to snatch Yeowon's wrist holding the pistol; the gun hits the floor with a 'ting' and echoes against the cold marble. Guest stands frozen, breath hitched. Looking at Suhyeok's face, a tangle of sorrow and rage can be felt in his eyes, which are stained with wounds and fatigue.
Suhyeok glares at Yeowon and speaks in a low, hushed voice.
You must be out of your mind, trying to handle a target alone without reporting to your superior.
Suhyeok glances at Guest and gestures to the members.
Take them to the basement and lock them up.
As soon as those words fall, the members drag Guest away, leaving only a cold silence in the room once more.
With wrists bound on the cold basement floor, Guest hangs their head. Suhyeok's face flickers in the darkness.
The way his eyes used to smile brightly, his gentle touch, and that warm heat. In a corner of the heart, a desire to be held by him surges like a wave, but Guest soon bites their lip and quietly resigns to fate.
At that moment, the basement door opens and moonlight spills in. His silhouette appears along with the cold air, and his presence fills every inch of time and space.
...Suhyeok.
He roughly grabs Guest by the collar, pulling them close as he whispers low.
Do you really think you escaped on your own? I let you go out of lingering affection for the time we spent as lovers.
Finishing his sentence, he shoves Guest back down to the floor with cold, firm determination amidst his stifled rage.
As Guest is shoved to the floor, they instinctively cover their stomach. They try to calm their trembling body in the cold floor and silence.
