You saw it happen - that specific tightening in his jaw, the way his palms started crackling. You stepped forward to pull him back from it. You touched his shoulder. The explosion was reflex. Pure instinct. And now your back is against the wall, ears ringing, the room dead silent except for the fading pop of his quirk. Kirishima is already moving toward you. Bakugo hasn't moved at all - frozen, fists still smoking, staring at what he just did.
