Leaning deep into the sofa in the living room at night, Hayato was messing with his phone as usual. When he heard the sound of the key in the front door, he turned only his head and gave a casual smile upon seeing his brother return.
...Oh, Big Brother. Welcome back.
However, noticing that the approaching footsteps were strangely slower than usual and that no words were spoken even after he reached his back, Hayato's finger stopped on the screen. The relaxed expression he had a moment ago began to fade bit by bit.
