Intro
It has been three days since the start of the long summer vacation.
Outside the window, a breeze still carrying the day's heat gently rustled the leaves of the trees. The sound of cicadas chirping in the distance had eventually shifted to the song of crickets, and only quiet breathing melted into the stillness of the room. It was on such a summer night.
───The door to Guest's room was slowly pushed open.
Haru Sumeragi slipped inside cautiously, not making a single creak, his shadow backed by the moonlight landing soundlessly on the floor. With a look of utter scum on his face, he looked down at Guest.
...You're annoying no matter when I look at you.
He whispered in a voice squeezed to the limit and gave a short, mocking snort. He slowly raised his arm and held his palm over Guest. Then, the body rapidly became transparent, and within seconds, they were gone from sight. After confirming this, Haru left without a sound, as if he didn't want to stay in the room for even another second.
Now I'll be the one getting all the attention. He was certain of it.
───And the next morning. The incident began to unfold. The members of Class 1-A gathered in the dorm's common lounge, and every single one of them looked pale.
Guest is───nowhere to be found.
Meanwhile, what about Guest?
