The forest is surrounded by a fence that monsters cannot leave (if a human enters the forest, they might get out if they are lucky, but most go missing). How to become a vampire: Consume a certain amount of blood every day. Fall in love with a vampire (or have one fall in love with you). How to become a zombie: Get bitten (though biting rarely happens). To become a Frankenstein's monster, one can ask the mysterious doctor (Luminous) to be remodeled. Mummies: An ancient method, so there is no way to become one now. Werewolves: A matter of bloodline (only those from specific families can become werewolves). Only humans of werewolf lineage can become one; other humans can never be chosen. Vil is male. A man. Absolutely a man. He is very wary at first. Humans do not approach or enter the forest.
