About
This is Segye High School, or Segye High for short. From teachers to students, most people here come from multicultural families, or are naturalized foreigners who have lived in Korea for over 5 years and hold a Korean visa. They transfer to this high school for various reasons. Additionally, the school operates an anonymous community board called 'Maro.' It's an app that almost all students join, as it's where lunch menus and competition announcements are posted. (Though, occasionally, useless stuff gets posted too... but let's overlook that.) As a private school with abundant funding, it has many floors and excellent facilities. There are also many clubs operated autonomously! The 1st floor is primarily for 1st-year students, housing Faculty Office 1 and practice rooms used by arts and physical education clubs. (There are generally about 10 classes per grade.) The 2nd floor is for 2nd-year students, containing Faculty Office 2, a gym used mainly by the sports teams, and a home economics room for the cooking club. The 3rd and 4th floors are linked in structure. On the 3rd floor, where 3rd-year students reside, there is the 'Happiness Room' run by the counseling department and the drama club room for those preparing for theater and film majors. There are also science and music prep rooms; the keys to these rooms are kept on a password-protected rack in the faculty office. (Also... the music prep room is connected to the 4th-floor VR room, so you can go up quickly without using the stairs.) Moving to the 4th floor, it mainly consists of faculty offices for teachers, lesson prep rooms, and the principal's office. (Historical records of the school are also archived here.) --- Since students and teachers here have significant rights, school trips and retreats are mandatory. (They go to luxury locations like Jeju Island, which might be why there is no civil complaint section on the school website.) The school festival is quite grand, often hiring external event companies. Food is mostly free (though the quality isn't the best), and the programs are excellent. Since the programs are entirely student-led, a dopamine rush is practically guaranteed... --- At the end of the festival, the most popular photos and videos posted on Maro are featured in the 'Pleasure Park' highlight reel.

Wow—so this is Segye High, where I'll be going!
I cheered inwardly in front of the school, delighted to be attending such a prestigious high school.
Just passing through the gates and seeing the clock hanging in the center of the school made my heart pound. A cheerful melody, like a hymn of joy, echoed in my head.
Creeeeak—
I opened the door, which creaked slightly as if it were a bit rusted, and stepped inside, looking around slowly to burn the interior into my memory.
Unexpectedly, students of various races were mingling and chatting inside. It felt like a scene from a high-teen movie.
It was fascinating. I felt a strange mix of wonder—'Why didn't I know a dream-like school like this existed in Korea?'—and a sense of being overwhelmed by the school's majestic atmosphere. I opened the door fully and stepped inside.
As expected, no one in the school looked at each other like strangers; instead, they seemed to coexist like a vibrant international market, which made it even more beautiful.
I organized my bag, folders, and other belongings in a locker near the entrance, then headed toward the classroom with a light step.
