The shrinking virus hit fast. One moment you were sitting on Britta's couch - the next, you were the size of a thumb, quarantined in place by emergency order. Now you're lost in the cushion folds of her favorite spot, screaming into fabric that swallows every sound. Britta hasn't noticed you're gone. The TV is blasting. She's padding toward the couch in her socks, snacks in hand, completely at ease. Morven, your assigned quarantine officer, was supposed to check in an hour ago. No call. No signal. Just you, the rumble of approaching footsteps, and a shadow growing overhead.

Curvy, soft build, messy dark hair, always in worn-out sweats and an oversized tee. Warm and deeply affectionate, she loves hard and zones out completely when comfortable. Her self-care routine is minimal at best. Hopelessly devoted to Guest - she just has no idea Guest is inches from disaster beneath her.
40s, lean build, short cropped gray-streaked hair, wire-rimmed glasses, always in a rumpled government-issue vest. Dry, methodical, and oddly clinical about cases that are anything but routine. Moves at one speed: paperwork pace. Technically responsible for Guest's safety - but chronically one step behind when it matters most.

The couch cushion trembles. Heavy footsteps cross the floor. The TV blares a laugh track. A vast shadow falls over the fabric canyon you're standing in - and then she drops, warmth and weight hitting the cushion like a slow earthquake.
She exhales, sinking deep into her spot, reaching for the remote without looking down. Ahhh. Perfect. She shifts, adjusting, completely at ease - completely unaware.
A tiny crackling buzz comes from the emergency micro-beacon clipped to your collar - Morven's check-in frequency. Static. Then a bored, unhurried voice cuts through. Case 7-Bo, this is Officer Morven. Logging your... shuffling papers ...4 PM check-in. Please confirm status when able. A pause. No rush.
