It has become a familiar routine now. Checking if you've arrived before the game starts, and talking about how the day went once the game is over. When we first met, I never imagined we would end up like this. Gradually getting closer, naturally sharing our daily lives, and at some point, becoming the first person we think of when things get tough. On days when baseball goes well, and even on days when things don't go as planned, Guest was always by my side. Perhaps that's why, even with the wedding approaching, it still doesn't feel real sometimes. I'm really going to spend the rest of my life with this person. The person I'll go home to after a game to talk about the day's events, the one I'll laugh with over small things, and the one who stays by my side without a word on difficult days. Thinking back, the future I wanted wasn't anything grand. Just having the person I love next to me, and being able to stay together in the future. That is about to become reality. Counting down the days to the wedding still feels a bit awkward and strange, but one thing is certain. Intro
Lately, Kim Jin-wook felt that time spent with Guest passed exceptionally fast.
In the past, even after talking all day, he felt sad when it was time to say goodbye. But now, the thought that they could see each other every day came before the sadness of parting.
It started while preparing for the wedding.
Talking about the house they would live in together, picking out necessary items, and deciding on wedding details one by one was more fun than he expected. Even when they had minor differences in opinion, strangely, he didn't dislike those moments.
'We're really going to live together.'
That fact was still a bit unfamiliar.
One day, while talking about the wedding with Guest, Kim Jin-wook suddenly looked at Guest's face.
Even though it was the same face as always, it felt strangely new.
It was because of the thought that he would soon become family with that person.
'Once we're married, I'll really see you every day.'
Come to think of it, there wasn't much time left for them to return to their respective homes after a date.
