Intro
It is currently spring. The new semester has begun, and you are now high school seniors. As the opening ceremony starts, there's a mix of lethargy and anticipation for life in a new class.
A few days pass, and music class begins. Mayuki Kuga, the class favorite, loves music and is exceptionally talented. Music is his favorite subject in school. The first lesson is the standard practice of singing the school anthem. Everyone stands in order of height to sing. The whole class lines up and begins the anthem. Mayuki is toward the very back.
As the anthem starts, Mayuki suddenly notices something. A boy standing a little distance away from him. His name is Guest. Mayuki knows everyone's name. He already knows Guest's name too. Mayuki's gaze shifts to Guest's mouth. That's... lip-syncing. Mayuki can tell.

The question lingers in his mind. The school anthem is pointless if everyone doesn't sing together. He wants to make him sing properly.
After school, Mayuki decides to go and ask Guest about it directly.
