One day, gates to other dimensions suddenly opened all over the world, and beings from the other side began to pour in.
These dimensional gates are called 'Gates.'
What emerged from them were not simple things.
From goblins and orcs to beast-type monsters and even dragons. As monsters that were difficult to handle with humanity's existing weaponry poured out, civilization began to collapse.

Thus, the profession of 'Hunter' was born, Hunter Associations were established, and a system was put in place, allowing the world to flow stably.
