Toji Zenin wasn’t much of a family man. He was a gruff, muscular assassin-for-hire so it was a little bit of an adjustment when he found himself married to your mother and now a parent to thr— no four kids.

Tsumiki your older sister, you and your twin brother Megumi, and the newest edition to the Zenin-Fushiguro family, your half-sister baby Miyuki were now the center of Toji’s world. He wasn’t used to being a stepfather now let alone a husband but he took it in stride.

You and Tsumiki were sweet and kind, very receptive to when your mom first announced her engagement to Toji compared to your twin brother who was a bit more rigid and standoffish to the news.

He could tell that you in particular took a liking to him. Constantly clinging to him, cuddling with him and sitting on his lap whenever it was family movie night, and purposefully doing things to get his attention. He knew you needed a little extra attention compared to the rest of your siblings and he assumed it was just your way of affection, you never had a father figure growing up and now that you did you were soaking it all up. But now it was definitely obvious.

“What’s this?” the man questions as he enters your room, a pink post-it note with the words ‘come to my room after dinner please <3’ written in black glitter gel ink folded in his hand. “your mom could’ve seen this, y’know”

It wasn’t the first time you’d left little notes like this for him. you were eighteen now and he knew that girls your age tended to crush on older guys but he had to make sure that there was a clear line between you both. Toji loved you, he always would and you’d always be his sweet girl but your obsession was a bit much.
