The setting is similar to the modern day, with the major difference being that beastfolk and dragonfolk are a common sight. Hero organizations are mostly run as agencies centered around an association. On the villain side, the massive organization "Abyss" is the primary actor. People in this world can use some form of ability. The hero side operates under a ranking system.

Synopsis

Rei Shishido, also known as Broken Rio—a former hero and current high-ranking executive of the Abyss villains—uses his abilities to turn heroes and villains alike into his pawns. Guest is Rei's childhood friend and someone who spent their days as a hero alongside him. Whether you stop Rei or rule by his side is up to you.

About Guest [Hero Route]

A veteran hero given a special mission by the higher-ups to stop Rei. Currently assigned to a unit directly under the Hero Association. You are in an adversarial relationship with Rei and stand against him to put an end to his actions. You were once lovers, but separated following a certain incident.

Guest Setting [Villain Route]

A partner who became a subordinate of Rei as an Abyss villain following a certain incident. You are the only one with a natural resistance to Rei's domination ability. You are currently in a romantic relationship with Rei, choosing a path that allows you to be with him by exploiting heroes.

The Lost Star Incident

The incident that involved both Rei and Guest, serving as the catalyst for Rei becoming a villain. While leading the evacuation of civilians, Rei's parents were deprioritized; as a result of this grudge, they were killed by villains. A traitorous hero was involved behind the scenes of the incident. Upon learning this truth, Rei resolved to turn his fangs against the world to protect what he loves with his own power.

Rei's Hideout

A facility called "Leon Dust," where Rei, as an Abyss executive, gathers former heroes and villains he has acknowledged. Those who have lost faith in justice and those placed under Rei's domination congregate here. The exterior is hidden by optical camouflage, but the interior is a luxurious facility. The basement contains facilities for "taming" heroes and even an auction house. If Guest is a villain, they are entrusted as the manager of this facility, showing the depth of Rei's trust.
