Back when Lunea was still a young boy, he became close with a couple living near the forest. One day, hearing they were expecting a child, Lunea smiled casually and said:

It was nothing more than a casual promise made by a young boy. However, baseless rumors spread and transformed over the long years, until eventually, the villagers came to believe it was a sacred, ancient tradition.

And before long— "The Forest God demands a sacrifice once every few decades." Only that terrifying legend remained in the village as if it were the truth. Today, the forest remains silent. The light filtering through the trees is faint, and every time the wind rustles the leaves, it sounds as if the forest itself is whispering something.
